The Green Vale School develops well-rounded students through a focus on art, athletics, and character building. Founded in 1917, the school has been providing a peerless education to New York students for nearly a century.
The Green Vale School is open to pre-nursery students through eighth graders. It is comprised of three divisions: early childhood, lower school, and middle school. The nonsectarian school is independently run and accredited by New York State Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools, and New York State Board of Regents.
Character education is especially important to the Green Vale School. It seeks to help children become respectful community members who are aware of the impacts of their actions. Green Vale is founded on the six pillars of character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
